At the Archdiocese eLearning Meeting on Aug 1st the licensing of the MS suite was discussed. For the 1:1 issue of laptops the cost to parents for: Education Desktop w/Enterprise CAL * Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Office Web Apps, Publisher, Access, Lync, InfoPath
is $30.33.
Desktops and staff laptops will also become part of the across-system licensing deal, so that the school should be able to update these machines. Costing is worked out using a staff numbers formula.
